David W. Dorton, D.O.,FAOCD
Dr. David W. Dorton, co-director of Bay Dermatology and Cosmetic Surgery is a Board Certified Dermatologist who has been in practice since August 1995. He specializes in diseases of the skin, hair and nails. Dr. Dorton received his Medical Degree from Nova Southeastern University College of Osteopathic Medicine in North Miami Beach. He completed a rotating intership at Florida Hospital in Orlando, Florida and his residency in Dermatology and Dermatologic Surgery at Gulf South Medical and Surgical Institute, New Orleans, where he served as Chief Resident.
He has been an AOCD member since 1994. Dr. Dorton was inducted as a Fellow of the American Society for Mohs Surgery in December 2007.
