Dr. Jay Gottlieb is a Board Certified Dermatologist and a Board Certified Otolaryngologist and Facial Plastic Surgeon. He is a Diplomate of the National Board & a Fellow of the Osteopathic College of Ophthalmology & Otolaryngology.
Dr. Gottlieb has been in practice for 27 years. He practices dermatology at his two (2) locations, one in Miramar, Florida and one down-valley Aspen, Colorado in the town of Basalt.
His practice is devoted to general dermatology which includes the diagnosis and treatment of diseases associated with skin, hair and nails. He has expertise and interest in Non-Surgical Rejuvenation encompassing:

Dr. Gottlieb practices with Dr. Sandy Goldman in their Miramar office. They employ Amy Gottlieb, MMS, PA-C, a certified dermatology Physician's Assistant. Amy has a caring way about her, that is able to put her patient's mind at ease. Michelle Rivera, a licensed dermatology aesthetician consultant performs many facial rejuvenation procedures and is available for facial consultations. Stephanie Rozman is the office manager and is always available to answer patient questions and keep the practice running like a fine tuned wristwatch. She is well versed in all of the skin care products available at Miramar Dermatology.
His Colorado office employs, Gretchen Weber, registered dermatology nurse who has had more experience in the field of dermatology then many dermatologists! Linda McClain is the practice administrator in the Basalt office. Linda always manages to keep the doctor's schedules on track and she keeps the staff and patients smiling all the time.
Dr. Gottlieb is a Past-President of the American Osteopathic College of Dermatology. He is a member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery, American Society for Dermatologic Surgery, the Broward Dermatologic Society, Florida Society for Dermatologic Surgeons, American Academay of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and is a fellow of the American Osteopathic College of Dermatology. He has been an Associate Clinical Professor at Nova Southeastern University-College of Osteopathic Medicine and Surgery since 1982. He founded and is the editor of the Journal of the American Osteopathic College of Dermatology (JAOCD).
Dr. Gottlieb has a passion for downhill snow skiing, biking, hiking, fast cars and motorcycling. He has been married since 1973 to his wife Shirley and they have two daughters: Lori, who has her masters as a dietician/nutritionist and lives and works in New York City. Amy, who has her masters as a Masters in Medical Science and as a Physician Assistant.
