Dr. Jay Gottlieb is a Board Certified Dermatologist and a Board Certified Otolaryngologist and Facial Plastic Surgeon. He is a Diplomate of the National Board & a Fellow of the Osteopathic College of Ophthalmology & Otolaryngology as well as a Fellow of the American Osteopathic College of Dermatology. He was awarded the Daniel Koprince award for outstanding research presentation. Only 3 such awards are given each year to outstanding presenters in the specialty of dermatology. Dr. Gottlieb is the only Board Certified Dermatologist in the state of Florida that is also Board Certified in Facial Plastic Surgery. That combination of specialties assures his patients the best possible surgical outcome when skin surgery is indicated.
Dr. Gottlieb has been in practice for 30 years. He practices dermatology at in Miramar, Florida. From 2002-2011 he also had a practicer in down-valley Aspen, Colorado in the town of Basalt.
His practice is devoted to general family dermatology which includes the diagnosis and treatment of diseases associated with skin, hair and nails. He has expertise and interest in Non-Surgical Rejuvenation encompassing:

Dr. Gottlieb has lectured internationally in many area of dermatology. Dr. Gottlieb practices with Dr. Sandy Goldman in their Miramar office. They employ Amy Greenberg, MMS, PA-C, a certified dermatology Physician's Assistant. Amy has a caring way about her, that is able to put her patient's mind at ease. Jo Murray is the office administrator and also works as a medical assistant and is always available to answer patient questions and keep the practice running like a fine tuned wristwatch. She is well versed in all of the skin care products available at Miramar Dermatology.
Dr. Gottlieb is a Past-President of the American Osteopathic College of Dermatology. He has been awarded Fellow of Distinction by his peers. He is a member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery, American Society for Dermatologic Surgery, the Broward Dermatologic Society, Florida Society for Dermatologic Surgeons, American Academay of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and is a fellow of the American Osteopathic College of Dermatology. He has been an Associate Clinical Professor at Nova Southeastern University-College of Osteopathic Medicine and Surgery since 1982. He founded and is the editor-in-chief of the Journal of the American Osteopathic College of Dermatology (JAOCD).
Dr. Gottlieb has a passion for downhill snow skiing, biking, hiking, fast cars and motorcycling. He has been married since 1973 to his wife Shirley and they have two daughters: Lori, who has her master's degree as a dietician/nutritionist and lives and works in New York City and Amy Greenberg, who has her master's degree in Medical Science and as a Physician Assistant.
Dr. Gottlieb welcomes new patients and their entire family to his practice. Dr. Gottlieb's greatest pleasure comes from patients that feel comfortable in referring their family, friends and co-workers to his practice.
