Sandy Goldman, D.O. is a Board Certified Dermatologist practicing in Miramar, Florida. He performs general dermatology, dermatologic surgery and cosmetic/aesthetic services.
Dr. Goldman specializes in surgical and non-surgical treatment of varicose and spider veins. He has performed over 10,000 varicose vein procedures.
Dr. Goldman has been practicing in Michigan for over seventeen years where he was the co-founder of the Skin and Vein Centers. He and his family have now relocated to South Florida to be home where his family lives.
Dr. Goldman completed his undergraduate studies at University of Florida in Gainesville and received his Medical D.O. degree from Southeastern College of Osteopathic Medicine in North Miami Beach, FL. He performed his Internship at Metropolitan General Hospital in St. Petersburg, FL and completed his Residency in Dermatology in 1991.
Dr. Goldman has authored contributions to medical and surgical literature and has written many articles for various health journals and newspapers. He co-authored one of the first articles on removing Varicose Veins under local anesthesia. His Academic Appointments include that of Trainer for the Dermatology Residency Program at Pontiac Osteopathic Hospital, Pontiac Osteopathic Hospital Director of Residency Program, and Affiliate Professor Michigan State University.
Dr. Goldman offers his patients specially formulated skin care products for use as part of a physician supervised skin care regimen. An office based Aesthetician is always available to perform professional facial treatments.
Dr. Goldman's office employs Amy Gottlieb, MMS, PA-C, a certified dermatology Physician's Assistant. Amy has a caring way about her, that is able to put her patient's mind at ease. Vivian Fernandez, a licensed dermatology aesthetician consultant performs many facial rejuvenation procedures and is available for facial consultations. Samantha Gold is the office administator and is always available to answer patient questions and keep the practice running like a fine tuned wristwatch. Samantha has expertise in facial cosmetics and is always available for a free 'make-up makeover'. She is well versed in all of the skin care products available at Miramar Dermatology.
