Dr. Adams completed his residency in dermatology at Michigan State University/Botsford Hospital in Farmington Hills, Michigan. He was appointed Assistant Clinical Professor of Dermatology at Michigan State University while in private practice before joining Lassen Medical Group. He is also an adjunct clinical professor for Touro University in California and serves as an associate editor for the Journal of the American Osteopathic College of Dermatology (JAOCD) Dr. Adams grew up in Tulsa, Oklahoma and received his medical degree from Oklahoma State University College of Health Sciences. He also served his country in the United States Air Force as a Primary Care Physician for five years.

Dr. Adams has a wide range of interests and brings a broad background to each patient visit. He has published extensively not only in dermatology but also in pharmacology and pain management. Dr. Adams has a special area of interest in the history of medicine in native and ancient cultures. He is also the owner of Dias, LLC the maker of Sasquatch Itch Cream for poison oak rashes. www.sasquatchcream.com

His professional memberships include the American Society of Dermatologic Surgery, American Osteopathic College of Dermatology, American Osteopathic Association, and DO Care International. When not in the office, he is busy keeping up with his two energetic daughters and wife. He can often be found on the ski slopes, exploring caves, or on the backpacking trails.
