Dr. Signore is a traditionally trained dermatologist. In addition to conventional therapy, he has integrated classical homeopathy into his dermatology practice. Homeopathic treatment may be helpful for patients who wish to avoid the use of antibiotics or steroids, when possible. This gentle form of natural wholistic medicine can also be tried when conventional dermatology methods have failed.
Dr. Signore was born in Blue Island, Illinois and grew up on the Southwest Side of Chicago. He attended Bogan High School and earned his Bachelors of Biology degree from Loyola University of Chicago. He received his D.O. degree from Des Moines University College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed a rotating internship at Pontiac Osteopathic Hospital in Pontiac, Michigan. He completed a family practice residency at St. Joseph Hospital in Flint, Michigan. Dr. Signore completed his dermatology residency at Pontiac Osteopathic Hospital.
Dr. Signore received the Daniel Koprince, DO Education Award in 1989 and 1990. He was voted Resident of the Year in 1992 at Pontiac Osteopathic Hospital.
In 1992, Dr. Signore began his dermatology private practice in Tinley Park, Illinois. He enjoys practicing general dermatology and treats children, adults, and senior citizens. He spends his spare time with his family and enjoys organic gardening.
The AOCD was recognized in 1958 as a Specialty College of the American Osteopathic Association. The AOCD now oversees 32 dermatology residency programs that are currently training 163 residents in dermatology.
