Bio:
David Baltazar, DO, PGY-2
My learning adventure began in the small town of Stockton, CA where I attended University of the Pacific. I majored in sports medicine knowing that I wanted to pursue a career in physical therapy. After undergraduate, I gained admission into the University of the Pacific Physical Therapy program and practiced as a physical therapist for six years. During that time, I found that my curiosity continually led me to medicine and that is what I decided to pursue. In the Fall of 2015, I began the journey to become a physician at Western University of Health Sciences in Lebanon, OR.

I will be going into dermatology and my area of interest is dermatological surgery. When I am not studying medicine, there are three things that I enjoy in my free time: family, cooking, and brazilian jiu-jitsu. The main reason I chose Honor Health for residency is that I felt they cared about me and wanted to know more about who I was as a person.
