AOCD Office Update

March 22, 2020
We are certainly experiencing uncertainty in our daily lives right now. While Kirksville’s situation is not as dire as New York or California or Chicago, we received word on Saturday that the first confirmed case has been reported in our county. (Travel related, as the patient had come from Chicago)
On Saturday, our Governor finally issued a “Social Distancing” mandate for the state until April 6, and said it could change to something stronger if the situation worsens.
I wanted to let you know that the staff of the AOCD will be working from home until April 6, 2020. We are all set up to receive and respond to emails and have access to all electronic files.
If you need assistance, your best contact method to reach us is via email.

If you need assistance from the AOA, they too are all working from home. Contact the AOA departments via their webpage, www.Osteopathic.org
If you have questions regarding the AOBD primary OR recertification exams, please check this page https://osteopathic.org/about/aoa-events/aoa-meeting-status/ For specific questions concerning the AOBD and the exams, contact Dan Hart at the AOA at DHart@osteopathic.org The AOCD does not have access to this information.
If you need CME, check out our online courses on our website. Speaking of CME, we are continuing to plan for our meeting in Chicago scheduled for October 9-11, 2020. Shelley and I are also discussing a Plan B in case we are not able to meet face to face, but we are thinking POSITIVE and remain very hopeful we will see you all in October as planned. The planning committee is currently working to line up speakers and I will be sending out confirmation letters to speakers this week. Check our website for the schedule of speakers. It will be updated once speakers confirm.
We’re thinking of all of you! Be safe! Stay Well!
