James D. Bernard, DO, FAOCD AOCD Foundation Residency Leadership Award

The James Bernard, D.O., FAOCD, AOCD Foundation Residency Leadership Award is a leadership award sponsored by the Foundation for Osteopathic Dermatology. The award is intended to encourage and enable the recipient to organize and foster the ideals of the AOCD.

Eligibility

Applications will be entertained from program directors to nominate third-year dermatology resident physicians, who are members in good standing of the AOCD.

Nomination Criteria

  • Integrity: Maintains the highest personal standards of honesty, fairness, consistency, and trust.
  • Respect: Displays a professional persona and is open-minded and courteous to others.
  • Empowerment: Provides knowledge, skills, authority and encouragement to fellow physicians and staff.
  • Initiative: Takes prompt action to avoid or resolve problems and conflict.

Nominees must be a Member in good standing of the AOCD.

Deadline For Submission

Applications must be received by July 1 to be eligible for consideration of award.

Information

Applications will be reviewed by the Foundation for Osteopathic Dermatology. The AOCD National Office notifies the applicants of the Foundation's action. The award will begin during the Spring Meeting of that year and end at the Spring Meeting of the subsequent year.
